Lifeboat and Launching Appliances Services
Lifeboat and davits on board the vessels need to be serviced periodically according SOLAS requirements. The installed equipment must be serviced either by equipment`s manufacturer or by the approved service providers as required by MSC.1/Circ.1206. However, it is required by MSC.1/Circ.1277 that each flag state needs to ensure, the necessary tests and services are carried out according SOLAS requirement.The alternative service providers needs to obtain individual authorisation in case to demand by shipping company subject to flag administration requirements.
Gurdesan and Gepa Fiberglass
Gurdesan is one of the life saving equipment`s launching appliances manufacturer. Gepa Fiberglass is lifeboat and rescue boat manufacturer. Our service engineers are approved by Gepa and Gurdesan to carry out annual services on the insalled equipments to cover UK and European ports. Services for Other Brand Lifeboat and Davits
Ship owners/managers can choose any other service providers for annual services on the installed lifeboats and davits if the engineers from manufacturer is not available or their costs are not reasonable for the dedicated port. The procedures to appoint service providers are subject to flag state requirements. ISMarine will assist you to follow the flag requirements and our service engineers will be able to carry out services in any required port with comparable prices.
